Why learn tennis with Gintas

Better tennis starts before the first ball.

Technique matters. But confidence matters even more. Every session has a clear purpose — we simplify the game, build good habits and help you understand why, not just how.

My approach

For four years I coached and built a community at Santa Barbara Tennis Club in Tenerife. The biggest lesson wasn't technical.

I watched complete beginners become confident players. Families spending whole days at the club. Children growing up on the courts. Strangers becoming friends over dinner after practice.

That's when I realised something. Great coaching isn't just about better strokes — it's about making people want to come back. Every session I teach today follows that philosophy.

Good coaching builds players. Great coaching builds confidence.

In every session

What makes a great session?

Clarity

Know exactly what you're working on.

Repetition

Good habits become automatic.

Challenge

Train under realistic pressure.

Enjoyment

Because the best players keep coming back.

Tennis should be somewhere people want to stay.

The method

Every lesson follows the same structure.

Methodical, never just hitting balls. The same four steps, session after session, until real change holds.

01

Understand the problem

We find what's really holding your game back — not just the obvious symptom.

02

Fix the movement

Better footwork and balance before better strokes. The base comes first.

03

Repeat with purpose

Good habits, drilled until they hold up without thinking.

04

Test it under pressure

Live points and real situations, so it shows up when it counts.

Ways to train

Three ways in.

One player. One clear plan.

Private coaching, one to one, with the court to yourselves. We film, adjust and build a plan that moves at your pace — the fastest way to change your game.

Small groups. Faster progress.

Train in a group of four, matched by level. All the structure of a real session, with the energy of playing alongside people who become your Sunday crew.

Build a game. Not just another lesson.

Commit to a run of sessions and we'll build a plan around where you want to get to — progress you can actually feel. Get in touch for the details.

Every plan is built around you. Tell us your level and how often you'd like to play, and we'll put together the right sessions — just get in touch.

Ready when you are

Let's build your game.

Tell us your level and what you'd like to work on. We'll match you with the right plan and find a time that suits.
